Architectural Glass: Building a Shopify Storefront for a Product That Refuses to Be Simple

A complete Shopify storefront and customer-facing implementation for a specialty glass supplier, translating an established visual direction into a responsive ecommerce experience.

Project Overview

Architectural Glass sells a product category where visual presentation and technical purchasing requirements collide. Customers need to browse glass by appearance and application, compare samples, request project quotes, and order fabricated glass to precise dimensions when a product can be purchased directly online.

Michael Munoz built the Shopify implementation across the customer-facing storefront and carried the established visual direction into production pages, responsive layouts, product experiences, and custom purchasing interfaces.

This case study focuses on the complete storefront and design-to-production work. The calculated pricing engine remains a separate technical deep dive.

Architectural glass is inherently visual, but the products are also technical. The storefront needed to balance image-led browsing, application-based discovery, samples, quotes, and made-to-order purchasing without making the catalog feel like a spreadsheet.

  • Give glass imagery enough room to sell the material visually
  • Organize a large specialty catalog without overwhelming customers
  • Support browsing by both glass type and intended application
  • Give customers paths toward samples, quotes, or direct online purchasing
  • Present technical information without allowing it to dominate the visual experience
  • Carry the same design system into complex ecommerce interfaces
  • Adapt product imagery, forms, and purchase controls to phones and tablets

End Everything Studios translated the established visual direction into a responsive Shopify storefront that connects marketing, education, product discovery, quoting, samples, and direct ecommerce into one customer-facing journey.

Reusable section patterns, controlled content widths, product grids, clear calls to action, and guided ordering controls allowed the storefront to stay visually coherent even as product logic became more complex.

  • Implemented the customer-facing Shopify storefront
  • Translated the established visual direction into production pages
  • Built responsive layouts across the site
  • Implemented product and collection experiences
  • Extended reusable page patterns across the catalog
  • Integrated product imagery and merchandising structures
  • Built customer paths for shopping, samples, and quotes
  • Implemented made-to-order product interfaces
  • Developed responsive form and selection controls
  • Connected custom frontend UX to Shopify's product architecture
  • Preserved configuration information through the purchasing flow
  • Supported a large specialty-glass catalog as products and pricing rules evolved
  • Continued production development beyond the initial page build
