The Delta gave this shoot a lot more to work with than individual menu plates. The food had a Southern and Louisiana influence, while the restaurant itself had a strong visual identity through its brick walls, colorful artwork, booths, bar, and downtown setting.
The photography moved between plated dishes, larger menu spreads, cocktails, and the restaurant itself. The food included seafood boils, oysters, muffuletta, bone marrow, burgers, desserts, and other dishes, while the bar coverage included cocktail preparation, absinthe service, draft beer, and bartenders working behind the counter. That mix let the final set show both what was being served and the environment it was being served in.
