About the shoot

Photographs built around the details of a classic American sports car

This Corvette had a lot of distinctive details to build the shoot around. The blue body, contrasting side coves, paired headlights, whitewall tires, chrome trim, and low convertible shape all gave the exterior a very different character from the later classic cars in the collection.

I photographed the car from full front, rear, profile, and three-quarter angles, then moved into the smaller details that identify this particular Corvette. The set includes the crossed-flags emblems, Fuel Injection script, wheels and side coves, interior, engine components, and trunk, along with photographs showing the car with the hardtop in place.
