About the shoot

Photographs built around the person behind the practice

This session was built around showing more than a conventional professional headshot. We photographed Kathleen throughout a desert garden using the plants, stonework, mountain views, and outdoor spaces to create portraits that felt connected to her personality and the kind of work she does.

The shoot also included photographs of Kathleen working with another person on an outdoor treatment table. Those images gave her a way to show part of her massage and bodywork practice alongside the portraits, creating a broader set she could use to introduce both herself and her services.
