Urban portraits shaped by Tucson color and texture
Aaron Owens’ portrait session used downtown Tucson textures as part of the composition rather than treating the locations as simple backdrops. We moved from a light suit against adobe walls and a mosaic fountain into plaid outerwear at a red pavilion, then shifted into murals, corrugated metal, and a long blue-lit passage for a more editorial finish. The strongest photographs balance polished personal branding with enough environmental detail to make the set feel rooted in Tucson.
