Original Aggressive Visual Direction
The original site was intentionally developed around a harder, grunge-influenced aesthetic rather than a polished corporate-fitness template. Typography, imagery, graphic treatments, spacing, and page composition worked together to give the website the same sense of intensity visitors encountered inside the gym.
Complete WordPress Website Build
The project covered the full website experience: global navigation, page layouts, service content, calls to action, imagery, applications, supporting pages, responsive behavior, and the repeated interface patterns that made the site feel like one system.
Photography Built Into the Website
Original photography was created for the client and integrated into the visual system. The images gave prospective clients a clearer sense of the people, facility, training culture, and atmosphere they would encounter in person.
Service Architecture With Clear User Paths
The website organized paths for gym membership, nutrition, personal training, contest preparation, and competition posing so different visitors could move through service-specific content instead of being pushed through one generic path.
Application-Driven Workflows
Several pages extended beyond informational content into structured application flows. Visitors could progress from brand experience, to service education, to applying for a specific relationship with the business.
Responsive Behavior
The responsive implementation preserved the site’s character, hierarchy, imagery, navigation, calls to action, and long-form application usability across smaller screens.
Attribution Note
This case study documents Michael Munoz’s verified original Shark Sports design, WordPress build, photography, and ongoing project work under VID Studios. The production website has continued to evolve, so current pages should not be treated as a pixel-for-pixel record of the original launch design.
