Top Step Vents needed a product-focused website experience that could present metal floor vents clearly, support product discovery, explain installation and sizing, and keep quote, dealer, and shopping paths visible.
The redesign began with a supplied Figma direction. Michael Munoz did not create the original Figma concept. His role was to translate that direction into practical Squarespace pages, adapting the layouts where the platform could not reproduce the static design literally.
The site stayed live while the work moved forward, so the redesign happened progressively, page by page, instead of through a single full-site cutover.
Design Credit
Design direction / Figma: Sher Agency supplied the Figma direction and initial layout ideas.
Squarespace adaptation, page design, responsive implementation, and site build: Michael Munoz / End Everything Studios adapted and refined that direction for Top Step Vents, making the layout, responsive, and implementation decisions required to build it in Squarespace.
The Design Problem
A static Figma concept and a live Squarespace site operate under different rules. Squarespace’s responsive grid, shared style controls, ecommerce structure, reusable blocks, and platform-defined behavior meant the design could not simply be traced into the browser.
The production challenge was to preserve the intent of the supplied design while building layouts that could function naturally inside Squarespace and coexist with the rest of the live site during the transition.
Production Adaptation
Michael used the supplied Figma as creative direction, then made page-level design and implementation decisions directly inside Squarespace. That included establishing content hierarchy, placing product imagery, adapting sections for mobile, supporting ecommerce-oriented pages, and maintaining customer paths for shopping, installation, sizing, dealers, quotes, and contact.
