The Parish
Food and restaurant photography for The Parish in Tucson, built around its Southern and Louisiana-inspired menu, cocktails, and distinctive dining-room atmosphere.
Photographs built around the food and atmosphere
The Parish has a visual identity that goes beyond individual plates. The Southern and Louisiana influence carries through the food, cocktails, and the restaurant itself, so the shoot included both clean menu coverage and photographs that kept some of that atmosphere around the dishes.
The menu gave us a wide range to work with, including chicken and waffles, chile relleno, salmon, trout, gumbo, cocktails, and larger table spreads. I moved between overhead views, tighter food details, angled plates, and wider compositions that brought some of the dining room into the frame.
