Photographs built around the details of a classic muscle car
This Camaro had plenty of character before getting anywhere near the engine. The metallic green paint, black steel wheels, chrome bumpers, raised hood, round headlights, and simple period trim gave the exterior a strong late-1960s muscle-car look.
The shoot moved between complete exterior views and the details that make the car interesting up close. I photographed the grille and Chevrolet emblem, Camaro script, hood, wheels and body trim, then moved inside for the black interior, steering wheel, dashboard, auxiliary gauges, shifter, and seating. The mechanical side of the car was part of the story as well, including coverage underneath the vehicle and its 454 V-8.
