The Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV paired Bertone’s clean, compact coupe body with Alfa’s twin-cam four-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive, and five-speed transmission. The design originated with Giorgetto Giugiaro and balanced slim pillars, generous glass, and restrained proportions with the mechanical character expected from an Alfa Romeo. By 1973, the 2000 GTV represented the mature form of the celebrated 105-series coupe.
