The first-generation Ford Bronco combined a short wheelbase, body-on-frame construction, and four-wheel-drive utility in a compact package. Produced from 1966 through 1977, its upright body, simple proportions, removable roof, and practical cabin helped establish the Bronco as both a trail vehicle and an everyday utility truck. The 1974 model retains the straightforward design that continues to define the early Bronco.
